We've
lost several large clients because we were not able to deliver on
our commitments.
We
are losing clients and money because of our inability to provide
accurate and current information about the health and status of
our clients projects. Strategic information is saved in multiple
places, where it is both outdated and contradictory. The information
in the MS PowerPoint presentation does not sync to the MS Excel
spreadsheet, which also is different from the MS Word status report.
My engineering staff and PM's are reporting conflicting data. What's
going on here?
If
I had one central source of consistent data we would not have looked
so bad in the eyes of our clients. They put up with our problems
for as long as they could but they finally had to say enough was
enough. We're losing revenue because of our inability to provide
