No
one in the organization seems to have a handle on all the different
projects that are being worked on, or even why some of them exist
in the first place. Executive decision makers have little or no
visibility into the Project Portfolio.
There
is no way to quickly and easily identify what initiatives are being
worked on, why they are being worked on, what is the schedule, budget
or priority for the initiative, and what is the value to the company
from these projects.
By
implementing the Strategic Command Center, a company can now have
the ability to identify multiple redundant projects that all address
the same business problems, thereby reducing waste and inefficiencies.
An 'Enterprise' perspective can be achieved so the various groups
can more effectively collaborate and leverage resources. Bottom
line, the left hand and the right hand can finally be in-sync.
The
ROI achieved through the identification and elimination of redundant
projects is both obvious and immediate.
